Lillian R. Marcum, age 89, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014, at the Jenkins Care Community in Wellston. She was born June 14, 1924 in Greenup, Kentucky to the late Newton Jasper Skeans and Lillie Mae Nelson Skeans. Lillian was a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker and she was a member of the Rt. 327 Holiness Church.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Pearl R. Marcum; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Clifford Sickles of Wellston; grandchildren, Rick (Dawn) Robson, Tammy (Darrell) Fyffe, Shawn (Michelle) Jenkins and Randy Robson; great-grandchildren, Nicky Robson, Heather Kitchen, Justin Fyffe, Kristina Biggs, Lauren Jenkins, Josh Jenkins, Ashley Harms and Brandy Robson; great-great-grandchildren, Lilly Mitchell, Sydney Kitchen, Jasmine Goodman, Olivia Robson, Myliegh Robson, Jett Stewart and Gabe Ferguson, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Leva Marcum; daughter, Janet Sickles; sisters, Jenny Meadows and Flora Goodrich and brothers, Clarence, Johnny, George, Edgar, Arthur, Eugene and Oscar Skeans.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Rev. Jim McFadden and Rev.
