Jack Edward Mash, age 72, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at his home. He was born August 24, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Asa and Mabel Legg Mash. Jack was a former construction worker and a former truck driver for Baker and Sons in McArthur.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Collmar Mash; children, Jackie Jones (Jim Kitchen) of Columbus, Linda Forrest (Jerry) of McArthur, Cindy Stoneburner (Charles) of McArthur, Keith Mash (Daphne) of McArthur and Jimmy Mash (Marsha) of Dundas; sisters, Linda Ghering of Columbus and Janet Crawford of McArthur, as well as 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Asa Eddie Mash; sister, Carol Legg; one grandson and one great-granddaughter.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Mathews officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be given to McWilliams Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
