Virginia L. Davis, age 98, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 7, at Four Winds Nursing Home in Jackson, Ohio. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 18, 1914. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis J. and Clara E. Edwards; her husbands, William George Patterson, William H. Eubanks, and the Rev. John D. Davis; two brothers and nine sisters.
Virginia attended the Vega Methodist Church in Thurman, Ohio and The First Church of the Nazarene in Jackson, Ohio.
She is survived by three sons, George T. (Janet) Patterson of Jackson, Ohio, Daniel D. (Darcy) Patterson of Indiana Lake, Ohio and Carl Edward (Rosealee) Patterson of Port Jefferson, Ohio; two daughters, Clara E. (Larry) McGinnis of Jackson, Ohio and Vivian L. Garside of Hilton Head, South Carolina; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home, 28 Harding Avenue, Jackson, Ohio on Wednesday, December 12 from 4 to 8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 13 at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Rozewicz officiating. Interment will follow in the Vega Cemetery in Thurman, Ohio.
