Randall D. Skog, age 65, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born February 11, 1947 in Aitkin, Minnesota, the son of the late Ralph and Geraldine Machamer Skog.
Randy was retired from General Mills in Wellston. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and gardening and was an avid bingo player.
Randy is survived by his wife, Diane Fuchs Skog; three children, Mary Skog of Jackson, Jodi (Mike) Hall of Jackson and Michael (Mary) Skog of Corning, Oh.; five grandchildren, Chad Skog, Rylie Hall, Caleb Oliver, Evan Hall and Dylan Skog; seven siblings, Ray (Ferne) Skog, Dick (Carol) Skog, Brenda (David) Overly, Wayne (Doris) Skog, John (Barbb) Skog, Bev (Denny) Sleen and Darrell (Amy) Skog, all of Minnesota, as well as several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Oscar.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 16, 2012, at 5 p.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Jackson with Pastor Robin Wargowsky officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be given in Randall’s name to the American Cancer Society, 138 Marietta Roads, Suite D, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601 or the Faith Lutheran Church, 245 East Huron Street, Jackson, Ohio 45640.
