Marilyn S. SILVEY Walker, 76, of Xenia, passed away Saturday morning, December 15, 2012, at Patriot Ridge Nursing Home, Fairborn. She was born April 2, 1936, in Oak Hill, Ohio, the daughter of Gerald and Dorothy Dever Silvey. She was a member of St. Brigid Church and retired from Clinton Memorial Hospital. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Debra (Charles) Hendrickson, Spring Valley, a son and daughter-in-law, Steve (Deborah) Walker, Lebanon, five grandchildren, Aaron (Kathleen) Hendrickson, Dayton, Josh (Emily) Hendrickson, Alpha, Mandi (Nick) Schneider, Beavercreek, Jennifer Spicer, Franklin, and Jessica (Jamie) Novosteras, New York, NY, a brother and sister-in-law, Gary (Molly) Silvey, Clarksville, TN, four great-grandchildren, Alexa, Brianna, Lucy, and Hannah, a nephew, Matt (Shelby) Silvey, Clarksville, TN, a great-niece and great-nephew, Margaux and Collin, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a nephew, Gary Silvey, Jr. Marilyn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at St. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia, with Rev. John Krumm officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Tuesday, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memorial Gardens, Centerville.
