Lee Roy Rawlins, 72, of South Webster, died Wednesday September 12, 2012 at his home. He was born February 23, 1940 in South Webster, a son of the late Clifford Rawlins and Oney F. Williams Rawlins. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by nine brothers, Raymond Rawlins, Walter Rawlins, Orville Rawlins, Arthur Rawlins, Ernie Rawlins, Harvey Rawlins, Herbert Rawlins, Tiny Rawlins, and Clifford Rawlins Jr.; and two sisters, Evelyn Ashley and Alma Lucille.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deanna J. Maddy Rawlins; two sons, Lee Roy (Sandie) Rawlins Jr. of Circleville and Michael Rawlins of South Webster; two daughters, Karla (Jim) Glass of Sparta, TN and Teresa (Eric) Starren of Fayetteville, NC; two brothers, Jessie Rawlins and James Rawlins; one sister, Darlene Blair; three grandsons, three granddaughters; one great-grandson and two great-granddaughters.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Davis Funeral Home in South Webster with Rev. Paul Willis Hagen officiating and interement in South Webster Cemetery with military graveside rites by the American Legion James Dickey Post.
