Viola Katherine Ferguson, age 80, passed away at Twin Maples Nursing Home, McArthur, Ohio, on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. She was born on June 24, 1931, in Grassy Creek, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Robert and Flora Elizabeth Ferguson; sisters: Mary Irene Robinson, Minnie Elizabeth Snyder, Eleanor Carolyn Sturgill, Alice Evelyn Ferguson, and Alma Ferguson; brothers: James Wallace Ferguson, Robert Vernon Ferguson, and Marvin Curtis Ferguson.
She is survived by two sisters, Leona (Robert) Sanecki of New Plymouth, Ohio, and Elsie Stambaugh of Donnelsville, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Sunday, March 25, at 6 p.m. with Pastor George Vastine officiating. Friends will be received two hours prior to the service on Sunday. Burial will be at convenience of family.
