Frances L. Eberts, age 88, of Hamden, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012, at the home of her daughter, Donna, in Hamden. She was born January 19, 1924 in Orton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Pearl and Elizabeth Bebee Wiseman. Frances was a homemaker and attended the former Wills Chapel Church.
She is survived by her children, Donna Martin McCorkle of Hamden, Linda Lue Stewart (Bob) of Hamden, Jerry Eberts (Connie Thorne) of Coalton and Shirley Boring (Jim) of Hamden; four grandchildren, Robbie Stewart, Eric Boring, Amy Hogan and Cara Dawn Wellman; five great-grandchildren, Ashley and Kaitlyn Stewart, Ariana Hogan and Braden and Bailey Wellman; brothers and sisters, Elvetta Eberts of Hamden, Raymond Wiseman of Hamden, Donald Wiseman of Hamden, Nell Eberts of Hamden and Irene Walton of Logan, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Eberts; grandson, Darren Martin; son-in-law, Olen McCorkle and brothers, Glendon Wiseman, Frank Wiseman, Floyd Wiseman and Ottie Wiseman.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Jim Boring officiating.
