Tami Wittkamp

Tami Lynn Wittkamp, age 62, of Jackson, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born December 17, 1959, in Gallipolis to the late Conrad and Shirley (DeLong) Hammond. Tami was a 1978 graduate of Jackson High School. She was a loving housewife and homemaker who enjoyed sewing, needlepoint and cross stitch, and spending time with her family and friends.

Tami is survived by her husband, David E. Wittkamp; children: Shasta Murphy, Scott Murphy (Misty), Suzy Forshey (Jared), Rosy Kelley (Nick) and Courtney Trent (Chris); sisters: Debbie Fout (Arkie) and Tricia Urhig (Andy); as well as 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special friends: Mike and Kim Denney. Besides her parents, Tami was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry “Red” and Ruby Wittkamp.

In keeping with Tami’s wishes, her body was cremated. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 19, at 1 p.m. at the Jackson Church of Christ with Pastor Jerry Scott officiating.
