Andrew “Andy” Duffy

Andrew F. “Andy” Duffy, age 68, of Wellston passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born September 19, 1953, in Wellston, Ohio, son of the late Ambrose Emerson Duffy and Clara Martin Duffy Cheatwood. Andy was a coal miner for 27 years and eventually retired from the U.M.W.A. He was also a former employee of Zeus Robotics for 10 years. Andy was a former Mayor of the village of Wilkesville and was a member of the Orphans Friend Masonic Lodge #275 in Wilkesville. In his spare time, Andy liked to golf, and he always enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jenny L. Lambert Duffy; children: Marty Molihan (Stacey Trace) and Terri Molihan; grandchildren: Candace Molihan and Casey Molihan; great-grandson, Kegan Mullins; and sister and brother-in-law, Judy and John Ingalls. Besides his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Duffy.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 21, at 1 p.m. at the Salem Cemetery in Wellston. Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com
