Phyllis S. Stewart, age 90, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born November 2, 1930, in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Clarence and Kathryn Simmons Graham. Phyllis was a 1949 graduate of Coalton High School. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed traveling, line dancing, playing bingo and, most importantly, spending time with her family. Phyllis was a member of the Chase Chapter #162 Order of the Eastern Star for many years.

She is survived by children: Dale Edward Stewart (Carolyn), Randy Lee Stewart, and Tina Dawn King (Jeff), all of Wellston; daughter-in-law, Cindy Stewart of Jackson; grandchildren: Dustin Stewart, Mindy Jackson (John), Shawn Stewart (Ashley), Brad Stewart (Crystal), Levi Stewart (Brittany), Hannah Stewart, Tyler King and Tiffani King; great-grandchildren: Sierra (Jim), Ryan, Josh, Justin, Jayce, Whitney, Allison, and TayLynn; great-great grandson, Jayden; brother, Daryl Graham (Grace) of Wellston; sisters: Beverly Oiler of Chillicothe and Norma Hubbard (Gary) of Texas, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William F. “Bill” Stewart in 2015; son, Jerry Dean Stewart; sister, Carol Seitz; and brother, Lowell Graham.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 5, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 6, at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Coalton.
