Marie Drummond

Marie Drummond, age 92, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Edgewood Manor in Wellston. 

She was born June 4, 1929 in Vinton, Ohio, daughter of the late Earl Oiler and Blanche Westenbarger Oiler. Marie was a homemaker as well as an ordained minister. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy for 62 years, where she served as a lay minister and church treasurer.  Marie enjoyed baking, attending church and spending time with her family and friends. 

She is survived by daughters, Deanna Wyatt (Bud Wright) and Karen Weller (Jeff), all of Wellston; son-in-law, Don Hartley of Florida; sister, Clara Coyle of Columbus; along with 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Emerson Drummond, in 1993; son, Larry Dean Drummond; daughters, Rita Downard and Patricia Hartley; brothers, Kenneth Oiler and Earl Leroy Oiler; sister, Daisy Buehler; and one great-granddaughter. 

Calling hours will be Sunday, Oct. 3rd, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Monday, Oct. 4th, at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Mathews officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com
