Terry Lee Parnell, age 78 of Jackson, passed away on March 8, 2021 at his residence. He was born February 23, 1943 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Harold Crager and Jessie (Parnell) Crager. Besides his parents and grandparents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Parnell, and a brother, John Crager.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Lyczewski) Parnell whom he married on April 30, 1966; son, Rick Parnell; daughters: Tina (J.R.) Mayer and Shelly (Richard) Ball; 6 grandchild and 9 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 5 sisters: Joyce (Crager) Stapleton, Patricia (Crager) Richards, Carolyn (Crager) Tompkins, Betty (Crager) Cooper, Kathy (Crager) Benton; and 3 brothers: Richard Crager, John Crager and Charles Crager; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, March 11 at 2 p.m. with Ron Bynum officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Burial will at the convenience of the family.
