Sarah Renea Young went home to Jesus on Aug. 17, 2020 while surrounded by family and friends at home. “She fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith.” Timothy 4:7. She loved God fiercely and being in His house. Church was her favorite place to be. She loved unconditionally and inspired infinitely.
Sarah, 23 years old, was born Feb. 15, 1997 to Rebecca (Chester) Adkins and Charles (Amanda) Young, all surviving. Also surviving are her siblings, Brianna (Michael) Mollett, Morgan (Sam) Stamper, Lauren Owens, Destiny, Aaron and Emily Young; special grandparents; mamaw, Brenda and Papaw, Ron Malone; mamaw, Brenda and papaw, Lawrence Adkins; granny, Ruth and papaw, Johnny Cooper; papaw, Kerry (Jodi) Cooper; niece, Isabella Stamper; aunts and uncles, Ina (Robbie) Cummings, Amanda Stokley, Anthony (Renae) Cooper and numerous cousins and countless friends.
She was a member of Jackson Assembly of God. To know Sarah was to know the love of God.
She was preceded in death by her mamaw, Bessie and papaw, Romeo and her uncles, Johnny and Ronnie.
Friends may call Friday, Aug. 21, 2020 from 4 to 8 p.m. and again Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Jackson Assembly of God, 420 Ralph St., Jackson, Ohio 45640. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 p.m. at the church with Pastor Matt Coy officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery in Oak Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill.
