Joseph E. Chandler, age 74, of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020 at Holzer Medical Center – Jackson. He was born in Jackson on March 31, 1946 to the late John Joseph and Annie (Mitchem) Chandler.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 38 years, Virginia, and his sister, Diane Helmick.
Joe is survived by his three children: Tracy Chandler, Crystal Cruse and Angel Salyers – all of Jackson; his grandchildren: Logan Salyers, Madison Salyers and Trent Tolliver – all of Jackson; and by his brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 1 p.m., with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Hammertown Lake. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Aug. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m.
