Beverly J. (Moore) Sturgill, age 72, of Oak Hill, passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019 at her home. She was born Dec. 31, 1946 in Jackson to the late Charles and Virginia (Poe) Moore.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelly A. (Tom) Hill, of Greenville, OH; sons, James R. Sturgill III, of Oak Hill, OH, Brian S. Sturgill and David W. Sturgill, both of Quinton, AL; grandchildren, Kayla Oliver (Michael Stacey), of South Webster, OH, Devin Sturgill, of Oak Hill, OH, Alli Sturgill, of Oak Hill, OH, and Dustin Sturgill (Bo) Wadsworth, Jonda Webb, Brittney Sturgill, Brian Sturgill Jr., and Brandon Sturgill, all of Alabama. She is also survived by her brother, Charlie Moore; and sister, Donna Moore, both of Jackson, OH; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Friends may call Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Zink officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
