Louise Myers

Louise Myers, age 95, of Oak Hill passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Four Winds in Jackson. She was born November 6, 1922, in Greenup KY., to the late Albert and Edna (Davis) Anderson.

She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Jim) Gaulden, of Houston, Texas and Sharon Conger, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Barry McCorkle (Jerry Clark), Tim (Delia) Marcum, Tyler Marcum, Kim (Devin) Conner and Tad (Melissa) Conger. Also surviving are eleven greatgrandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Donley and Phyllis King; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Myers; infant son, Marlin Richard Myers; son, Timmy Myers and daughter, Linda McCorkle. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Charles, Carl, Denver and Leo Anderson.

Louise worked at the Highway Restaurant in Oak Hill. She loved being at home and her favorite job was being a homemaker. She loved working in her yard and with her flowers and crocheting and quilting.

Friends may call Friday, July 20, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Hannah Niday officiating. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery.
