Amy Ann Strausbaugh Downard, age 43, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 at Four Winds Community in Jackson, Ohio. She was born June 23, 1974 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Patrick Lowell Strausbaugh and Shirley A. Conger McCain.
Amy was a graduate of Whitehall High School and was a former school bus driver for Wellston City Schools. She loved waking up every morning to drink a cup of coffee and always looked forward to spending time with her family. Amy was a sports fan who rooted for The Ohio State Buckeyes.
She is survived by her children, Katelynn Marie Downard and Shane Lowell Downard; sister and brother-in-law, Betsy Ellen Strausbaugh and Robert Ray Bradfield; twin nephews, Levi Robert Bradfield and Luke Patrick Bradfield; and good friends, Harry and Mary Downard, all of Wellston; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents.
