Timothy Scott (Scotty) Snyder, age 58, of Oak Hill, passed away unexpectedly January 4, 2018 at Holzer Hospital in Gallipolis, Ohio. Scotty was born July 22, 1959 in Oak Hill to the late Marvin and Audrey (Brofford) Snyder.
He is survived by his one brother, Randy (Linda) Faye, of Oak Hill; granddaughter, Andrea Jade Snyder, of Vinton, Ohio; stepson, Carl Miller, of Oak Hill; special friend and companion, Jeanie Isaac, of Oak Hill; and special friends, Roger Long and Joe Pelfrey, of Oak Hill. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Snyder; his son, Scott Eugene Snyder; grandson, Benjamin Snyder; stepson, Kris Miller; brothers, Marvin “Chuck” Snyder, Tommy Snyder and Johnny Snyder.
In Scotty’s spare time he loved hunting, fishing and working on lawn mowers.
Friends may call Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Cline Rawlins officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery in Oak Hill.
