Gary O. Miller, age 70, of Oak Hill, Ohio, moved to his heavenly home on Nov. 9, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on Nov. 27, 1946 to the late Glenn and Elaine (Jones) Miller in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Gary married the love of his life, Cathy Conley, on Sept. 26, 1969 and they shared 48 years of marriage together.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pam Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Miller; brother, Rusty (Jane) Miller; brother-in-law, Sam (Robin) Conley, whom he considered his brother; nephews, Rick Miller, Brandon (Susan) Conley, Brad (Amanda) Conley; great-nephews, Bradley Miller, Andy (Leah) Miller, Beau and Ben Conley; and one great-niece, Miranda Miller.
He is also survived by his supportive church family, numerous cousins, friends, family and all the children he thoroughly enjoyed through the years that Cathy babysat.
Gary was a devoted Christian, husband and friend that will be greatly missed. He enjoyed fishing, camping and country rides in his ranger.
Friends called Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill with Pastor Roy McCarty officiating. Burial followed in C.M. Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
