Marilyn Y. (Zinn) Hill, age 85, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at her son’s, David and Kathy Ward’s home, where she resided for the last eleven years. She was born February 23, 1932 to the David and Veneda (Bard) Zinn.
She is survived by two sons, David A. (Kathy) Ward and Raymond E. (Pam) Campbell, both of Oak Hill, Ohio; brothers, Charles Zinn, of Jackson, Richard Zinn, of Vinton, Ohio and Forrest Zinn, of Chillicothe, Ohio; sister, Myra (Zinn) Webb, of Jackson; grandchildren, Katrena (Landon) Henry, of Gallipolis, Ohio, Shane (Amber) Ward, of Vinton, Ohio, Anthony (Amy) Campbell, of Washington Court House, Ohio, Stephanie (Matt) Lyon, of Beaver, Ohio, Tabitha Justice, of Dayton, Ohio; step grandchildren, Lee (Mandy) Travis, of Oak Hill, Mary (William) Jones, of North Carolina and Edna Travis (Lyle Crosier), of Florida. Also surviving are several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Hill, sister, Patricia Lou (Zinn) Bailey, brother, Walter Zinn, grandson, James (Jimmy) Ward, sisters-in-law, Bonnie Zinn, Sue Zinn, Phylis Zinn, Hester Zinn and brothers-in-law, Gerald Webb and Lee Bailey.
Marilyn enjoyed cross word puzzles, playing her Nintendo, playing games on her tablet and she loved her flowers.
Friends may call Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 4-7 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Doug Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Pattonsville Cemetery.
