Betty Louise Waugh, age 83, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away at Holzer Medical Center, Jackson on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. She was born in Coalton, Ohio on May 23, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sadie (Green) Vititoe; husband, William Chauncey Waugh; brothers, James and Franklin Vititoe; and sisters, Pauline O’Brien and Gertrude Drake.
She is survived by daughters, Mary Louise Waugh, Sharon (Tim) Baker and Joanna (Kenny) Valentine; sister, Daisey (Bus) McGhee; grandchildren, Todd Valentine, Troy (Amanda) Valentine and Leslie Baker; great-grandchildren, Joshua Wells, Laiah Valentine, Christian Valentine, Chauncey Valentine, Jordyn, Daiesha, Ayden, Mimi and Travis; and several nieces and nephews.
Betty was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, loved gardening, canning and her dog, “Benji.”
Friends will be received at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Friday, July 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, July 22 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ray Dunlap officiating. Burial will be at convenience of family.
