Maude Howard Logan

Maude Howard Logan, age 89, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Jenkins Care Community in Wellston. She was born March 8, 1928 in Lawrence, Kentucky, daughter of the late Charles W. Blankenship and Jane Miller Blankenship.

Maude, a loving wife, mother and homemaker, was also a former cook at area nursing facilities. She was a member of the Wellston Church of Christ.

Maude is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Robert Congrove of Dallas, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Cynthia Howard of Rio Grande; five grandchildren, Mike Congrove (Ali), Cathy Whitehead (Steve), Matt Church (Deana), Jason Howard (Heather) and Timothy Howard (Jill); great-grandchildren, Alexa, Weston, Erin, Chasen, Cade, Daniel, Steven, Nathaniel, Sarah, Riley, Brock, Blake and Bailey; sister, Margie Hammond of Jackson; brother, Lloyd Blankenship of Troy, along with several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Maude was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Howard in 1979; second husband, Millard Logan in 2006; sisters, Opal, Lizzie, Gracie and Ollie; and brothers, J.C., Lon, Charles Ray, Lee, Leight Everett and Fred.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jim Mullett officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Coalton.
