Jean Ann Evans Ross

Jean E. Ross, age 84, of Loveland, Ohio (formerly of Jackson), passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born Jan. 26, 1933 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Raymond and Irene (Bayes) Evans.

Jean, a 1951 graduate of Jackson High School, was a resident of Jackson most of her life. She dearly loved her family, friends and the church. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Jackson Women’s League/Club, Study Club, was an avid bridge player and a great baker.

Jean is survived by her husband, Max Ross; her children, Jana (Pete) Ogilvie, Joi (Bill) Kelley, Jeff Priest, Laura (Mark) McNeil, Lisa Ross, and Steve Ross; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Ruby Evans; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Evans and her ex-husband, Jack D. Priest.

Jean selflessly donated her body to the Ohio State University Medical School.

There will be a “Celebration of Jean’s Life” at the Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. A luncheon at the church will follow.
