Bill Fox Sr., age 78, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus surrounded by his family. He was born May 21, 1939 in Summers County, West Virginia to the late David Fox and Lillian (Kirby) Sear.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Ida (Exline) Fox of Oak Hill, Ohio; children: Robert (Stephanie) Fox and Roger (Kathy) Fox of Laurelville, Ohio, Steve (Angie) Fox of Middletown, Ohio, Billy Jo (Debbie) Fox of Hamilton, Ohio, Billy (Mona) Gill of Hinton, West Virginia, Julie Gill of Hinton, West Virginia, Becky Mitchell of Summerset, Ohio, Savannah (Chris) Wyatt of Wellston, Ohio, Billy Jr. (Wendy) Fox of Oak Hill, Ohio, and Steve (Betty) Lucas of Princeton, West Virginia; step-children: Tammy Exline of Jackson, Ohio and Joseph Exline of Ashton, West Virginia; grandchildren: Shawn Fox, David Fox, Wyatt Fox, Makenna Fox, Dusty Fox, Misty Baumgardt, Teresa Stump, Sierra Wyatt, Katelyn Wyatt; and several other grandchildren; great-grandchildren: Adalynn Fox, Lilly Baumgardt, Landon Baumgardt, Cassy Fox, Natalya Fox, Drako Fox, Maddisson Campbell, Emma Stump; and great-great-grandchild, Zander Campbell; siblings: Gerie Matthews, Mary Moye, Carol Simons, Bob Fox, and Bud Fox; and special dog, Dozer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandson, Roger Fox, Jr., and brothers, Danny Fox and Ronnie Fox.

Bill owned and operated Fox’s Salvage, his pride and joy.

Friends may call at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Vinny Powell officiating.
