Constance “Connie” R. (Crabtree) McNerlin, age 77, of Oak Hill, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 8, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Oak Hill. She was born in Firebrick, Ohio, May 12, 1939 to the late Lorenzo D. and Nellie B. (Ervin) Crabtree.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth (Tim) McCoy, of Oak Hill; two grandsons, Dr. Jon D. (Stephanie) McCoy, of Jackson, Ohio and Dr./Officer Timothy S. (Dina) McCoy, of Wellington, Florida; great-grandchildren, T.J., Morgan and Riley McCoy, all of Florida and Olivia McCoy, of Jackson. Also surviving is her brother, Doug (Sharon) Crabtree, of Oak Hill and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her recently deceased husband of 60 years, Morgan E. McNerlin; her brothers, Burl “Bob” Crabtree and David Crabtree and her sister, Barbara (Crabtree) Allen.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Herman Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in C. M. Cemetery.
