Karyl Helen Brandt, age 91, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away at Four Winds Nursing Home of Jackson on Friday, March 31, 2017. She was born May 15, 1925 in Reedsville, Wisconsin to the late Charles and Marie (Collins) Daley.
She is survived by children, Donna (Randy) Baker of Jackson, Ohio; Steve Brandt of Georgia; Colleen (Darin) Davis of Oak Hill, Ohio; and Tom (Kelly) Brandt of Cincinnati, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Brandt; daughter, Rosemary Sullivan; one sister; and two brothers.
Karyl was a long-time employee of G.C. Murphy’s in Jackson. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church for many years.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 3 to 7 p.m. with Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 9 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
