Amber Wright Landrum

Amber Wright Landrum, age 36, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away March 11, 2017 peacefully in her sleep. Amber was born April 22, 1980 to Ruthann Wright Dingus and Frank Thomas “Tom” Wright.

She is survived by her mother, Ruthann Wright Dingus of Jackson, Ohio; step-father, Ron Dingus of Mt. Sterling, Ohio; maternal grandmother, Barbara Browning Carpenter of Jackson, Ohio; sister, Brandy Wright Ervin; brother, Justin Dingus; her fiancé, Mike Potts; daughter, Asialyn Landrum (17) of Jackson, Ohio; son, Triston Landrum (16) of Jackson, Ohio; nieces and nephews: Lindsay Wolford, Laiken Wolford (who was like a second daughter), Clayton Ervin, Jonna Dingus, Roger Dingus, Selina Dingus, and Brett Eldridge; a great-niece that she truly adored, Lilianna Wolford; special “sister-like” friend, Saundra Mullins and her daughter, Cloe whom Amber loved as her own; as well as several aunts, uncles, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her baby boy, Dalton Mitchell Landrum and her father, Frank Thomas “Tom” Wright.

“Amber loved her children more than anything and was a great mother. Her kind heart touched many and as her daughter quoted, ‘Her smile could light up a dark room.’ She will forever live in our hearts. We will miss her with our EVERYTHING!”

Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Cheryl Browning officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
