April R. Higginbotham, age 35, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017. She was born Aug. 14, 1981 in Charleston, West Virginia. April was a 1999 graduate of Wellston High School and held an Associate’s Degree from Rio Grande University. She enjoyed bowling, taking part in her daughter’s gymnastic activities and spending time with her family and friends.
April is survived by her father, Emmanuel Ray Higginbotham; mother, Kathy Maynard; fiancé, Dusty Fultz; daughter, Kensley Fultz, age 6; step-son, Talan Fultz, age 10; grandmother, Mamaw Maynard; along with several brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
