Shirley Marie Jackson, age 82, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at her home in Jackson. She was born December 4, 1934 in Thurman, Ohio to the late Ray and Hermia (Hall) Jackson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her niece Pamela Miller and several aunts and uncles.
Shirley is survived by her sisters, Helen Blair and Mary Swann; her brothers: Johnny (Marlene) Jackson, Ray (Vernella) Jackson, Jimmy (Margaret) Jackson and Steve (Yvonne) Jackson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews and her special nephews: Mark, David, Timmy and Tony Jackson; special great-nieces: Paula and Holly Jackson; co-worker, Anna Wiseman; and special cousin, David Preston.
She worked and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Community Christian Fellowship Church, 290 Trails End Rd., Thurman, Ohio 45685 with Elder Mark Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 11-1 at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson.
