Barry D. Sturgill, age 53, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 at Four Winds of Jackson. He was born March 22, 1963 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Anson “Dick” Sturgill and Betty (Waldron) Sturgill.
He is survived by his daughter, Tish (Cody) Huff of Jackson, Ohio; siblings: Marilyn Warner of Florida, Roger (Donna) Sturgill of Jackson, Ohio, Brenda (Andy) Bernard of Columbus, Ohio, Chris (Tonya) Sturgill of Jackson, Ohio, Jeannie Keaton of Jackson, Ohio, Kim (Mike) Rivera of Jackson, Ohio, and Angie Sturgill of Jackson, Ohio; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna (Kisor) Sturgill; his sister, Sherry Frater; and his brother, Mick Sturgill.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Cheryl Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Roy Cemetery.
