Virginia Faye (Rose) Kuhn

Virginia Faye (Rose) Kuhn passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Heartland of Jackson. Ginny was born September 8, 1930 in Wolfe County, Kentucky to George Rose and Jessie (Lutz) Rose. She married Guy Kuhn, her husband of 68 years on May 8, 1948. Ginny was an employee of Chun King, R.J. Reynolds, and retired from Pillsbury in 1995. Ginny enjoyed cooking and canning for her family, working in her flowers, her garden, and small orchard on the family farm.

Ginny is survived by her husband, Guy Kuhn; four daughters: Barbara Conger of Jackson, Ohio, Connie (Chuck) Bowling of Johnson City, Tennessee, Kathy (Mark) Key of Columbus, Ohio, and Diana (Jim) Hisle of Gahanna, Ohio; and sisters, Betty Kuhn of Oak Hill, Ohio and Ruby Luff of Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She is also survived by grandchildren: Debra Boggs, Kristie Russell, Carla Bowling, Jamie Bowling, Mark Key II, Craig Hisle, and Heather Hisle; step-grandchildren, Emily Brunton and Ben Conger; great-grandchildren: Ciara Davis, Zach Russell, Chelsea Bowling, Derrik Bowling, Charlie Bowling, Madisen Parker, Jasiah, Brooklyn, Ashton, and Garrison Hisle, and Dillan Hisle; step-great-grandchildren: Haylee Miller, Reece Brunton, and Quinn Conger; great-great-grandchildren: Azlynn and Parker Bowling; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Rose, Ray Rose, and Eddylea Estep; and son-in-law, Bill Conger.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. with Rev.
