Irvin Baisden

Irvin Baisden, age 81, of Coalton, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family and friends on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. He was born in Mingo County, West Virginia on August 30, 1935 to the late Wayne and Arizona (Amburgy) Baisden.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley (Linton) Baisden and his second wife, Carol (Keairns) Baisden. A son, Randy Baisden, three brothers: Denny, Jerry and Minor Baisden, and a sister, Shirley Kisor, also preceded him in death.

He is survived by his sons: Rick (Debra) Baisden, Ronnie Baisden and Roger (Carita) Baisden; daughters: Cynthia (Jamie) McDonald, Tami (Amanda) Quigley and Kelli Baisden; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Benny Baisden.

The family would like to give a special thanks to his caregiver, Betty Griffith.

Irvin was a self-employed contractor for most of his life.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 7 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Fulton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Baisden Family Cemetery in Glen Roy. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 6, from 5 to 8 p.m.
