Carl A. Wilson, age 90, of Oak Hill, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Heartland Nursing Home of Jackson. He was born in Oak Hill on August 11, 1925 to the late John and Margaret (Davis) Wilson.
He was a W.W.II veteran serving with the United States Coast Guard. He also was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 261 of Oak Hill.
Carl is survived by his daughter, Pat (Chester) Willis of Oak Hill; granddaughter, Cathy McClaskey; two great grandchildren, Katie Gibson and Tiffany Scott and Three great great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Katie (Rawlins) Wilson, son, Mike Wilson and grandson Chester “Chopper” Willis.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery with military graveside honors.
