Martice “Marty” Dee Hill, age 55, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 23, 2016 at his home. He was born March 20, 1961 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Wanda Darlene (Culp) Hill.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patty (Fairchild) Hill of Jackson, Ohio; sons: Marty Hill, Edgil Hill, and Josh (Teresa) Hill, all of Jackson, Ohio; grandchildren: Neveah “Rugrat”, Duane “Tater Head”, Raden “Peanut”, and Leah “Baby Girl” Hill; siblings: Bob (Susan) Hill of Jackson, Ohio, Kay (Bernie) Starley of Sunbury, Ohio, Terry (Bea) Hill of Chillicothe, Ohio, Tom (Becky) Hill of Jackson, Ohio, Steve (Joann) Hill of Rio Grande, Ohio, and Kenny (Sylvia) Hill of Jackson, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Rita Stewart, Freda Wallace and Joanie Hill.
He enjoyed hunting, eating ice cream, and spending time with his grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
