Connie Sue (Exline) Thorne, age 57, of Jackson, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, May 13, 2016 from her earthly residence. She was born September 28, 1958 in Jackson County, Ohio to the late Daniel Jefferson Exline and Helen Wollum Exline. Connie was a homemaker who enjoyed listening to country music, watching soap operas and working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Jerald “Jerry” Eberts of Jackson; two daughters, Barbara Kerr (Jammie) of Gallia County and Candi Atchison (David) of Lucasville; grandchildren, Jerald Thorne Snelling, Jammie Anthony Kerr-Clark, Andrew Kerr and Christina Atchison; great-grandchildren, Rowan, Kaitlynn “Kaity”, Athena, Izaiah “Zai”, Blayze and Nathaniel; sister, Ida Fox (Bill) of Oak Hill; brothers, Ralph Exline of Hamden, Carl Exline of Jackson and Donald Exline of Jackson; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, Connie was preceded in death by sister, Imogene (Exline) Walton; brothers, Roy A. Exline and Ira O. Exline; niece, Mitzi L. Exline; nephew, William “Eric” Exline; and her son-in-law, Michael Margisso.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Eberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamden Cemetery.
