Bea Haller

Bea Haller, age 88, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away May 15, 2016 at Jenkins Care Community. She was born in Montrose, West Virginia on March 7, 1928 to the late Corder and Etta Phillips. On March 17, 1954, she married Richard D. “Sparky” Haller in Elkins, West Virginia who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Jackson Church of Christ.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Sheryl) Haller of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Paul (Dr. Marla) Haller of Jackson, Ohio; daughter, Tami (Joe) Wyant of Jackson, Ohio; six grandchildren: Zachary (Sarah) Haller of Albany, Georgia, Nathaniel Haller of Woodstock, Georgia, Caleb Haller of Jackson, Ohio, Austin Wyant of Fort Stewart, Savannah, Georgia, and Dillon and Makayla Wyant of Jackson, Ohio; one great-grandchild, Ayden Haller of Albany, Georgia; and a brother, Raymond Phillips of Baltimore, Maryland.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Calbert Phillips, Perry Phillips, Don Phillips, and Corder Phillips, Jr.; and sisters: Blanch Weese, Alma Bookless, Edna Stiendler, and Izetta “Betty” Phillips.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Boggs officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
