Ross Campbell, age 75, of Oak Hill, Ohio, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, April 8, 2016 at his home. He was born April 10, 1940 to the late Violet Higgenbothem. Ross worked at Woody’s Excavating for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beverly Campbell; two daughters, Carla Shaffer (Billy Lancaster) of Oak Hill, Ohio and Susan (Eugene) Hatfield of Latham, Ohio; 10 grandchildren: Robby, Lisa, Ryan, Tonya, Mandy, Crystal, Shelly, Erica, Lori, and Tiffany; 28 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Carl and Randy Higgenbothem of Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Frank and Larry Campbell and Donald Higgenbothem.
The family would like to extend special thanks to his Hospice girls for the care they provided.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Horeb Cemetery.
