Nola Dillinger

Nola Dillinger, 87, of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. She was born on September 28, 1928 in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late Aaron and Effie (Marquis) Bail.

When she was able, Nola attended the Pattonsville Church of God and the Wellston Church of God. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler who won many competitions and awards. She was a wonder wife, mother, and homemaker who kept a great home, enjoyed cooking, but most of all enjoyed taking care of, spending time with and loving her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Gregory and her husband Jim; son Bruce Dillinger and his wife Wanda; daughter-in-law, Janet Dillinger; brother, James Bail (Vi); sister, Marlene Holder; grandchildren, Russell, Jennifer (Justin), Stephanie (Kevin), Richard, Alan (Marlene), Jason (Jody), Vicki (Dale), Brad, and Paula; great-grandchildren, Kyla, Chelsey, Lacee Marie, Ashton, Jacob, Ethan, Nathan, Taylor, Justin, Mason, Allana, Jordan, Hayleigh, Blaine, Caden and Josie; great-great-grandchildren, Addilyne and Harper; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Byrd; son, Keith; sister Mary Jane Wright; and brother-in-law, Bill Holder.

A funeral service celebrating Nola’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 West Broadway Street in Wellston. Burial will follow in Pattonsville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday, one hour prior to services from noon to 1 p.m.
