Lois May (Puckett) Edwards, age 85, of Mt. Liberty, Ohio and formerly of Jackson, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2015 at Knox Community Hospital in Coshocton, Ohio. She was born on October 27, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William and Gladys (Hixson) Puckett.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Ernest) Nance of Centerburg, Ohio and Donna (William) Janey of Columbus, Ohio; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Edwards; her daughter, Sandy; a granddaughter, Belinda; and several siblings.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. A service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillumfuneralhomes.com
