Ernest Vincent Bowling Jr., age 54, of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly Thursday October 29, 2015 at Holzer Medical Center Jackson ER. He was born August 15, 1961 in Wellston, Ohio.
Ernest is survived by his wife of 15 years, Pamela Brown Bowling. Also surviving are his mother, Mary Jane White of Jackson; one daughter, Jessica (Zech) Benner of Bainbridge, Ohio; stepson, Wally (Kristy) Albert of Wellston, Ohio; two sisters: Dolly Justice of Jackson and Alice (Keith) Newsome of Jackson; two brothers: Roger (Carol) Bowling of Jackson and Ernie Bowling of Jackson; and grandchildren: Austin, Braxton, Aubrey, Jacey, TJ, Ricky and Hailey. Several nieces and nephews, two great-grandchildren and one great-niece also survive.
Besides his father, Ernest Vincent Bowling Sr., he was preceded in death by three brothers: Roy Bowling, Eddie Bowling and Kenny Walker, and one sister, Louise Bowling.
Ernie was an avid outdoorsman and history buff. He was also an involved and loving “Pap” to his grandkids. He will be greatly missed.
