Julia Ann Chapman, 67, of Hamden, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the home of her daughter in Hamden. She was born in Gallipolis, Ohio, August 13, 1948, to the late Leslie and Florence Barlow Jackson.

She was a 1966 graduate of Jackson High School and a former member of the Christian Church of Byer. In her spare time she enjoyed camping, riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and playing with her dog, Harley.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Loren Brewer, in 1998; her second husband, Robert Keith Chapman, in 2007; and her close brother-in-law, Don Woodruff, in September of 2015.

Surviving is her husband, Harry C. Manring Jr. of Hamden; a son, Robbie Auxier, of Waverly, Ohio; three daughters: Chrissy (Joe) Marks of Hamden, Leslie (Brian) Diehl of Groveport, Ohio, and Angela (Danny) Napper of Wellston; three step-children: Harry C. Manring El (Adoracion Poling) of Hamden, Trevor D. (Racheal) Manring of Hamilton, Ohio, and Heather D. ( Matthew) Borghese of Thurman, Ohio; a brother, Gene Jackson, of Jackson, Ohio; three sisters: Juanita Woodruff of Jackson, Ohio, Leona (Ed) Humphrey of Texas, and Elverie Auxier of Missouri; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Jenkins Chapel with Pastor J. D. Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Byer Cemetery.
