Glendon Richard Landrum

Glendon Richard Landrum, 74, of Nelsonville, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, The Plains. He was born May 18, 1941, in Jackson County, son of the late Chester Arthur and Agnes Elizabeth Lovette Landrum. He was married to Kay Marstiller Landrum, who survives, for 45 years.

Glen was retired from Goodyear in Logan, worked for Walmart and attended the Asbury United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps.

In addition to his wife, Kay, he is survived by daughters, Tina Landrum of Nelsonville and Dee Dee (Jackie) Marshall of Commerce, TX; sons, Scott (Amanda) Landrum and Eric (Cheri) Landrum, both of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Jacob (Aundie), Annica, Ethan, Emily, Billy, Sarah, Dillon, Rhenne and Lilly; great-grandchildren, Juliet and Jaden; brother, Ronald (Thelma) Landrum of Port Clinton; special loved ones, Jerry and Cheryl Higgins and special friend, Bob Johnson Sr.; numerous nieces and nephews and lots of friends and neighbors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Landrum and sister, Doris Coburn.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Rev. Dr. Walt Goble and Rev. Sheryl Goble officiating. Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery, Hocking County where a military graveside service will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at the funeral home.
