Margaret Louise Hollingshead, age 82, of Wellston, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015, at the Jenkins Care Community in Wellston. She was born August 16, 1932 in Byer, Ohio to the late Harold and Martha Speakman Hooks.
Margaret was a 1950 graduate of Hamden High School and was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by sons, Harold Hollingshead of Chillicothe and Thomas Hollingshead of Wellston; daughters, Mary Pendergraft of Tennessee, Jennifer Ross of Tennessee and Sara Rippeth of Wellston; sister, Sue Henry of Wellston, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph S. Hollingshead in 2001; daughters, Sue Ellen Hollingshead and Jonna Hollingshead; son, Roger Hollingshead; sister, Mary Bishop, and brother, John Hoops.
In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, her body was cremated. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston with Brother Hurston Hall officiating.
