Alma Yvonne (McNerlin) Miller, age 79, of Oak Hill, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. She was born January 8, 1936 in Oak Hill to the late Dannie and Sadie (Malone) McNerlin.
She is survived by her children, Sandy (Jim) Ewing, Dennis (Gail) Miller and Rhonda (Tony) Dixon, all of Oak Hill; grandchildren, Mandy (Todd) Moore, Amy (Bob) Woods, J.P. (Ryan) Monk, Josh (Kristin) Miller, Joanna Maroon, Myra Dixon and Betty-Jo Miller. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Shays Leonard, Kortney Leonard, Aiden Maroon, Jaiden Maroon, Kiara Arrington, Jonathan Monk, Nathaniel Monk, Clayton Woods, and Isiah Miller; brothers, Tom (Angelina) McNerlin, Bill McNerlin, John McNerlin and Ray (Karen) McNerlin.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Glen McNerlin brother, Bob McNerlin grandson, Dennis Ray Monk, great-grandson, Michael Ray Monk, and sisters-in-law, Kay, Deloris and Betty McNerlin.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill with Pastor Tim Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery.
