Francis Patrick “Fran” Larkins, age 59, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015, at his home. He was born March 1, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late James Thomas Larkins and Ellen Mary Simpson Larkins. Fran was a former employee of Whitman Chocolates and was a painter, mechanic and basically a jack of all trades.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Elisha Larkin of Jackson; granddaughter, Lisa Larkin; siblings, Mary Evelyn Sodul of Georgia, Patricia Ann Young (Frank) of New Jersey, Margaret Mary Larkins (J.D. Patton) of Wellston and Sean M. Larkins of New York; former wife, Carolyn Larkins of Jackson, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James Thomas Larkins and Michael Kevin Larkins.
