Sonya R. Landrum, age 50, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 2, 2015 at her home. She was born February 10, 1954 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Sharon R. (Gilliland) Landrum and the late Charles E. Landrum. She graduated from Jackson High School. Sonya was a great artist and was known for her sense of humor. She was a terrific mother, and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Cody Peters of Oak Hill, Ohio; her mother, Sharon Landrum of Jackson, Ohio; and her siblings, Randal Landrum, David Landrum, Laurie Buttrick, and Jason Landrum, all of Jackson, Ohio and Shawn Carroll of Gallipolis, Ohio; special friend, Randy Pedigo of Jackson, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Arrangements will be at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson.
