Al Pearson Patrick

Al Pearson Patrick, age 64, passed away at home suddenly on Sunday, December 28, 2014. Al was born January 21, 1950, in Oak Hill.

He was a graduate of Oak Hill High School Class of 68 where he was a member of the football team and Senior Class President. Al served in the US Army during the Vietnam War era and was a member of the American Legion on Demorest Road, Cols., Oh. Al was employed with Conrail before becoming disabled.

Al is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Patrick; brothers, Doug and Charles (Rose).

He is survived by wife of 21 years, Mila; mother, Sylvia Patrick of Oak Hill; sisters, Sandra (Marlin) Miller of Fairborn, Oh. and Debra (Dan) Noble of Bainbridge, Oh.; sister-in-law, Goldie Patrick of Groveport, Ohio and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and dear friends.

Al was a loving and generous man who never met a stranger. He was a father figure to his nieces and nephews and enjoyed debating any issue. He loved all sports especially Notre Dame and Ohio State Football. He will be sadly missed by all.

Visitation was held at MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main St., Groveport, on Friday, January 2. Pastor Gary Whaley officiating. Interment Lithopolis Cemetery.
