Victoria “Vicki” Pelletier

Victoria “Vicki” Ann Pelletier, 64, of Wellston, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Four Winds Community after battling cancer.

She was born in McArthur, Ohio, June 27, 1950, to the late Joseph B. Lenegar who passed away in October, 1989, and to Myrna Henry Lenegar, of Wellston, who survives.

She was a 1968 graduate of Wellston High School and retired in 2008 from the Ohio State Highway Patrol as a driver’s license examiner following 30 years of service. Vicki was an avid bowler and had a love for animals.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael J. Lenegar in July, 2011, and most recently by Jeffrey Wayne Lenegar on September 5, 2014.

Besides her mother, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jona and Jeffery Bates of Wellston; a son, Michael Pelletier of Wisconsin; grandchildren Cameron Bates and Connor Bates of Wellston, J.T. Pelletier of Wisconsin, and Brendan Pelletier of Texas; two step-granddaughters, Morgan and Ryannon of Wisconsin; two sisters-in-law, Tammy Lenegar of Wellston and Rosa Dean Lenegar of Glen Roy; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family invites all of Vicki’s friends to a graveside memorial service at Ridgewood Cemetery in Wellston on Saturday, December 6, at 2 p.m. Reverend Timothy O. Jones will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family politely requests that memorial contributions in Vicki’s name be made to the National Church Residences, Bristol Village, 444 Cherry Street, Waverly, Ohio 45690.
