Harrison Daniels, age 74 of Ray, passed away at his residence on Monday, September 1, 2014. He was born in Boyd County, Kentucky on February 21, 1940 to the late Charlie and Julie (Miller) Daniels. In addition to his parents, his wife, Carolyn and brother Grover, along with 2 infant brothers, preceded him in death.
Harrison is survived by his sons: John (Jacquelline) Daniels of Ray, Ohio and Kenny (Karalee) Daniels of Frankfort, Ohio; and by his daughter, Tiffany Hill of Ray, Ohio; grandchildren: Johnathan, Jack, Ashlee, Jennifer, Jeffrey and Jaelyn; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers: Charles, Woodrow, Cecil, and Arthur Ray; sister, Alice, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by special friends and neighbors: Bill and Wanda Bryan, Susan and Rich Simpson, Charles and Frances Cooper, and Nancy and Willard Anderson III.
He loved his family, and was a member of the Forest and Field Draft Horse and Mule Association.
Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 5 at 1 p.m., with Reverend Dave Rednour officiating. Burial will follow at the Hilltop Cemetery, Jackson Township, Jackson County, Ohio.
